Sales Manager

Salary: £42,000 – £60,000 per year

Our Client:

Since 1953, our client is a £30 million turnover engineering services provider operating in the UK and Western Europe. The business have a rich history in servicing and treating metals across numerous industry sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemistry, the food industry and plastic production working alongside large scale clients throughout the globe.

In the role you will responsible for opening new doors within existing accounts and close sale. The client are not looking for a candidate who is looking to nurture long prospects, but a candidate who can gain commitments from clients and secures a deal.

As the business operate throughout the entirety of the UK, you will be able to be located anywhere in the UK, with the expectation of UK-wide travel to meet client needs. You will also be required to fly to The Netherlands at least once a month to interact with the wider team.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to be an effective communicator at a senior level, operating with procurement teams and securing orders of £50,000 – £500,000.

Person Specification:

* Experience of selling engineering services across a variety of business sectors (i.e. O&G, Automotive, Aerospace)

* Excited to be part of a growth projects

* Entrepreneurial, motivated and tenacious

* A track record of consultative selling to stakeholders at all levels (B2B)

* Prepared for (inter)national travel
