Sales & Logistics Coordinator

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Our Cambs-based client is a highly respected vertically integrated fruit supplier, sourcing specific fresh produce globally for the major European retailers. As part of on-going development, they wish to source a Sales & Logistics Co-Ordinator to help support the supply chain & commercial team.

Main Duties include:

• Stock allocating to customer programmes and adhoc orders (instructed by Commercial)
• Liaise with service providers on the arrivals, deliveries, of containers etc.
• Co-ordinate confirmed orders with Administration Assistance to raise sales orders in

  ERP system, sending sales order confirmations to customers, services providers and

  internal personnel.

• Timely communication with customers of order delivery / collection times ensuring reference numbers are quoted on documentation and order conformations are sent to / received from customers.
• Transport booking with UK hauliers for transits from warehouses to customers
• Stock to sales orders intercompany transactions (BV to UK and UK to BV) Instructed by

  commercial

• Assisting with export / import documentation (BV to UK and UK to BV)
• Keeping the database fully up-to-date, with customer, supplier and service provider

  information.

• First contact for daily communications with external Warehouses / Service

  Providers (in UK and Holland)

• Assisting the Commercial Managers, Managing Director, Financial Controller, Senior

  Sales and Logistics Co-ordinator and also Administration.
