Sales Ledger / Accounts Assistant

Salary: £30,000 – £32,400 per year

Overview

This is an opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger to join a leading organisation at their headquarters in Bordon. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join the existing team within the high-volume finance department. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic, forward-thinking attitude to their work, have previous experience within a Sales Ledger position and should have some previous exposure in credit control.

Sales Ledger Clerk – About the Role

In this role you will be working alongside the existing finance team and will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will take full control of the sales ledgers and will also be required to assist the Credit Controller to minimise the occurrence of debt. Other duties will include but not limited to, month end reporting, to manage and update the companies contract base, upload new customer accounts, reconciling accounts, whilst also dealing with any customer sales invoice queries.

The successful Sales Ledger Clerk should have

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience working within a Sales Ledger/ Accounts Assistant position.
• Experience using Sage Line 50 accounts programme would be advantageous, but full training can be provided.
• Excellent time management skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous experience in an SME environment.
• Ability to prioritise and organise workloads, multitask, adapt quickly to change
