Sales Executive

LOCALiQ is a digital media and advertising agency within the Newsquest media group. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our outbound sales team in Basildon, you will work with the team engaging with a new and existing customer base from our office with future scope for remote working options, you will be calling small and medium businesses to discuss advertising opportunities across our fleet of titles in the area including the flagship Basildon Echo title. To qualify for this role you must have previous experience of working in an office environment making outbound calls.

You will be rewarded with a basic salary plus the opportunity to earn a commission bonus paid monthly, The average yearly bonus across the group is £8000 however the scheme is uncapped so the sky’s the limit with earning potential.

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Be based commutable to the Basildon office.
• Be driven by targets and KPIs and able to provide excellent customer service.
• Be goal-orientated and driven to succeed.
• Ideally, be experienced in advertising or digital media sales, but this is not essential.
• Able to carry out consultative client calls via telephone
• Able to work on your own initiative
• Able to work both out on the field and remotely
• You will be assigned territory in our South Essex region to manage and develop new business opportunities
