A global leader in high quality, safety-critical products that save lives are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their successful and ever growing team. You will play a key role in being the customer facing technical expert for all the companies products within your territory.

The Sales Engineer will include the following responsibilities:

• Provide rapid technical support to solve our customers problems and drive business opportunities
• Develop and deliver bespoke training programmes for our target stakeholders
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to continuously improve our technical and training materials and increase the number of customers who are trained.
• Identifying, engaging, and influencing key decision makers within the market like specifiers and consultants
• Have a deep understanding of the features and benefits of the company’s products in comparison to our competitors.
• Deliver customer and market insight to contribute to the marketing and sales strategy
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Essential Requirements of the Sales Engineer

• The ability to live, work and travel within their territory without restrictions
• In-depth technical knowledge of safety critical products
• Extensive knowledge of relevant installation code requirements
• A knowledge of the competitive landscape and the relative benefits different products 
• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
• Ability to listen to customers and solve their problems
• Good planning and organisation skills
