Location: Chesterfield

Salary: £26,000 per year+ Monthly Bonus

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Assistant for our client based in Chesterfield. This position will suit someone with a creative flair, excellent IT skills and a friendly attitude towards customers as you will help bring new opportunities into the business. Although it would be advantageous, you do not necessarily need to have come from a Marketing or Graphic Design background but you must be able to demonstrate you have the inventiveness and vision to create new ideas and have examples of situations where you have had to put this to work.

Job Description:

To coordinate all marketing and sales activities, whether web, email, mail, telephone or in person. Support the Sales Director in generating new business opportunities and managing the sales cycle from lead generation through to closing the sale.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Manage Social Media activities.
– Create new POS materials using design software such as Adobe.
– Manage the online store
– Keep websites up to date and create industry relevant blogs.
– Conduct marketing campaigns
– Update the in house sales CRM system
– Generate and chase customer proposals

Skills and Qualifications:

– Preferably have some previous marketing and sales experience within an office.
– Have outstanding attention to detail.
– Be proactive, organised and able to work independently.
– Good understanding of Microsoft applications, including Word & Excel.
– Understanding of design software such as Adobe.
– Previous experience working with a CRM package an advantage.
– Creative flair and imagination to create exciting marketing campaigns
– Business 2 Business sales experience
