An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Materials Planner/Controller to join a long established and successful manufacturing company, who provide bespoke rubber and plastic seals to a wide range of industries.

Based at their central Birmingham location and reporting to the Senior Materials Planner/Controller you will be responsible for taking customer orders and ensuring there is the relevant raw materials in stock to full fill them in agreed time frames and placing orders with suppliers if required. In addition you will liaise with Sub Contract suppliers were applicable. Training will be given to develop the successful candidate to undertake the role as an estimator when they have settled into the role.

This is an ideal role for someone from a manufacturing or processing environment with a Materials Planning / Stock control or any planning related role requiring strong communication skills, customer / supplier interaction and attention to detail to join a business that believes in developing its staff and promoting from within.
