Get the App Our client is a major national principal civils / rail contractor with a turnover of over £100m and they are looking to recruit a NEBOSH diploma or similar qualified Safety Health Environmental and Quality Advisor with experience of rail (station, bridges and tunnel upgrades new build and refurb) projects to join their award winning safety team out of North London or Milton Keynes.
The main function of the role is to support the rail division of the business however you will also support other civils project function and divisions as and when necessary therefore it is vital you have a strong understanding of rail policies and practices and have previously managed Health and safety and compliance within a rail environment. Experience of Health Safety Quality and Environmental delivery experience in a civils, infrastructure would be considered however rail experience is essential.
Projects will include bridge / tunnel construction and refurbs, platforms, canopies, station buildings and embankment repairs and renewals. Other aspects of the role will include site investigations and hidden critical examinations, installation of Crash Protection Beams, Ground works, excavation, remediation and disposal, Embankment stabilisation, Level crossing renewals, Platform construction and renewals, Road, pavements and walkway construction, Ducting, Building, mechanical and electrical works.
Successful candidates will hold some form of recognised health and safety qualification at NVQ Level 4 or NEBOSH diploma level with strong rail infrastructure project experience.
The role offers an excellent base salary up to £54,000+ car or allowance with benefits including bonus, salary uplift, pension and private healthcare.
