Safety Consultant

Salary: £54,000 per year

The scope of work is to provide competent HSSE.

Duties that we expect the role to include but not limited to:

* Conduct risk assessments and audits.

* Work independently to provide on-site Health and Safety support.

* Communicate with clients and people of varying levels of professionalism etc.

* Provide support to the Project and/or operation team(s) in all aspects of safety, security, health and environmental issues;

* Attend pre-job, planning and meetings as required on HSSE related matters;

* Assist with developing HSSE plans that comply with company polices and procedures as well as any specific client requirements;

* Assist in the collection of safety statistics, track and provide regular HSSE performance reporting to the Employer;

* Assist in the development of Project specific HSSE procedures;

* Review of risk assessments.

* Develop Construction Phase Health and safety plan and processes to ensure compliance with CDM.

* Complete PCI’s

* Develop site H&S induction

* Undertake a H&S inspection and record findings.

* Attend regular progress meetings.

* Understand clients need and build relationships.

* Maintain willingness to travel when necessary. (occasional overnight travel required)
