Telecom Riggers X Lots

Telecom Riggers Required for UK wide work. Ideally working as part of a team of two, you will have extensive rigging experience working on PCN, Microwave and Broadcast systems for a range of service providers including Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile etc. Duties will include installation, upgrades, fault finding, alignment, decommissioning, surveying and testing.

All the usual Rigging/Climbing certificates will be required and you should have current ‘Gateway’ accreditation. Sites could include a variety of greenfield and rooftop locations

Excellent communications skills will be required and you should be able to follow all reporting procedures in a timely and accurate fashion.
You should be a good all rounder, flexible in terms of duties required and be able to work away from home. A team of two engineers who work together with access to thier own vehicle would be ideal for this contract work.Modern day RF rigging has moved a long way from the early days of the initial network roll outs with greater emphasis now on quality and optimised network performance. Customers are demanding greater testing and performance of what is a critical element of the networks performance. The client has recognised these changes and maintains its position at the forefront of RF rigging for Operators and Enterprise Customers.

All teams are equipped with Sitemasters, BER testers and voltmeters. Laptops complete with data cards are carried by all teams so that test data can be transferred with ease from site to office, particularly useful for time sensitive “month end” results or fault finding in reactive maintenance situations.

Climbing teams are approved to work on Third Party Structures including: BT, NGW and SSE. Police infrastructure including the Metropolitan Police and have Government full SC Clearance approvals for works on MOD and Airwave installations. Rate is for use of client tools and transport… If own tools and transport rate is £240 + £20 per night towards accomodation no fule allowances
