Are you an experienced RGN Unit Lead seeking a new experience?
Our client is a dedicated Care Home with a primary aim of providing excellent resident care. The Care Home is now looking for a Band 5 Registered Nurse (RGN) Unit Lead to join their rewarding work environment by ensuring the Care Home is operated to the safest, caring, professional and effective manner in the Walsall area.
The Care Home provides a friendly working environment, ensuring that each and every one of their patients feel confident and at home with the professional standards given. The RGN Unit Lead will have the day-to-day duties of delivering a professional, caring, efficient and prompt serve to residents at all times.
The RGN Unit Lead will need to therefore have experience working as a Band 5 RGN nurse and show the compassionate and care that patients require. Dedication and enthusiasm are key factors in your day to day duties.
Responsibilities that the RGN Unit Lead will hold are:
Supervise all care planning and ensure that the care plans are effectively put into place and written in accordance to the care standards
To carry out full supervisions with the allocated employees on the unit in the absence of the Care Home Manager
Liaise with all social workers regarding service users reviews
To ensure full assistance is provided to the residents in order that they achieve as full and rewarding a life as possible
Participate and undertake new starter inductions by being a mentor
Acting as first line supervisor for the Senior and Care Assistants, answering day-to-day enquiries
Skills required:
Previous nursing experience
Valid NMC registration
Current CRB
