We are looking for experienced Catering Manager to work in one of our visitor attractions based in Manchester City Centre, this is a well established venue which has a beautiful setting which accommodates for daily visitors and amazing weddings and events.

Our client is one of the UK’s leading large contract caterers, their commitment to value and service ensures they are constantly offering fantastic products, at great value, through expert people.

The ideal candidate would have a wide knowledge of restaurants, catering or contract catering, with a fast paced high volume environment; with the ability to managed a large number of guests and staff.

Job Role – Catering Manager – Hospitality and Events

As Catering Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

– Driving high customer service standards within the site.
– Responsibility for the operational departments within Conference & Events.
– Maintained strong site standards as well as adhering to the company’s high ethical values.
– Driving all aspects of the site P&L performance.
– Ensuring hospitality services are delivered to the highest standards.
– Create strong awareness of local competition.
– Client liaison.

Key Attributes – Catering Manager – Hospitality and Events:

As General Manager you must have:

– Experience within hospitality / events is essential
– Strong communication / customer service / organisational skills
– Excellent Profit and Loss management
– People development skills
– Evidence of excellent client relationships
– Able to work in a pressurised environment
– Excellent track record of achievement: maximising sales and achieving / surpassing targets
