Salary: £72,000 per year

The Role

To support the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the identification and delivery of remediation/environmental projects and the Environmental Department.

3. Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business leads and strategy to provide growth for the company and specifically the Environmental Department

• Manage existing clients and accounts, managing client’s expectations

• Attend and conduct site visits and meetings as required to develop relationships

• Work with Project Managers on a wide range of remediation projects to ensure quality and financial targets are met

• Maintain sales database and report on sales activity, developing and monitoring pipeline, forecasts and budgets

• Work with Marketing Department to develop and update suitable marketing material

• Attend workshops and industry events as required 

• Ensure that Industry Guidelines and Corporate policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

• Set a personal example to enforce a positive safety culture.

• Participate in wider objectives of the company

Communication

The successful candiate will work closely the Management Team including liaison with:

• MGE Contract Managers

• MGE Site teams

• Directors, Managers and Employees 

• Marketing and Sales Teams

• Clients/External Stakeholders

• Regulators where required

Success Measures

• Development of Business Strategy/Sales Strategy for the Environmental Division

• Increase in appropriate enquiries for Remediation/Environmental projects

• Monitoring and growth of pipeline

• Reporting of pipeline

• High level of client satisfaction resulting in repeat work

• Employee job satisfaction

Skills & Competencies Required

• Demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role

• Committed to providing first rate customer service

• Knowledge of relevant Environmental legislation including Health and Safety

• IT Literate – Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook and the use of remote meeting tools e.g. Skype

• Effective communicator, influencer & relationship builder.

• Commercial awareness to manage financial implications of projects and improve margin

• Honest & reliable

• Ability to prioritise work and manage own diary – amidst challenging demands on time

• Ability to balance operational needs with best practice

• Full Driving Licence

• Working additional hours as required, by the needs of the business.

Salary

• £60K+ dependant on experience
