Salary: £26,000 – £42,000 per year

We are dedicated to staffing in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Devices and CRO industries throughout Europe. Our client portfolio includes global leaders in pharmaceutical development and clinical research, whilst our expertise encompasses a wide remit of jobs sectors, including dedicated teams within clinical research jobs, drug safety and pharmacovigilance jobs, QA/QC, regulatory affairs jobs and medical affairs.

Established in 2006, the company has enjoyed growth year on year to our current headcount of circa 50 employees across multiple locations and are currently set for even stronger growth this year.

We are looking for a sales focused individual to join our Regulatory Affairs team as a Contracts Specialist. This is a huge opportunity for a candidate with around a years experience to join an organisation where training and development and personal growth is recognised as the underpinning necessity for the continued success of our business.

The Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join our Regulatory Affairs team, focusing on placing Regulatory Affairs professionals into contractual roles within our clients.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned 360 Contracts/ Temporary/ Locum/ Interim Recruitment Consultant who will be based at our offices located in Reading, servicing our UK clients.

You will service a selection of clients personally and ensure development of client/Key Accounts to ensure maximisation of profit across the business unit.

We are open to those who have experience in other fields as well as our own, such as IT, Finance, Construction and Engineering, who are seeking a new opportunity and have the capability of developing their own desk in their area of specialism.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with the following strengths;

Planning and organisation – this is a new remit for Clinical Professionals, with an already developed and profitable permanent team, the Regulatory Affairs Contracts Specialist will build this desk, leveraging existing relationships. The ideal Candidate will balance the 360 role of a consultant; candidates, business development, contractor maintenance and set up, and job cycle searching.

Business Development – the ideal candidate will be a ‘lead chaser and developer’ working both their candidate pool and market to identify, qualify and develop leads, be they candidate referrals, job leads, prospective clients.

Urgency and Drive – you must have the self motivation to want to achieve! The functional area is highly competitive and fast paced we are seeking a candidate who will thrive in this environment.

Experience;
– Experienced in developing new business and leveraging existing business relationships
– Used to working in a collaborative focused environment
– Experience of developing and leading a team preferable but not necessary
– Used to making quick but sensible business decisions based on market knowledge

Professional skills;
– Fluent written and spoken English necessary for advert writing and professionally presented CV’s and Internal Reports
– Experienced in the field of recruitment and or industry
– You must be able to demonstrate a target driven environment where achievement was measured and essential to success

Qualifications:
– English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
– Preferred A Levels/Degree or equivalent, but not essential, more important are the competencies within urgency/drive
