REGISTERED HOME MANAGER – £UP TO 45K – WALSALL, WEST MIDLANDS
Forest Care Selection are currently supporting a leading national provider of residential childcare, based in the Walsall, West Midlands area. This provider is seeking a Registered Home Manager to oversee the running of a 3-bed specialist service based in Walsall, West Midlands, which offers residential care to children with EBD and is rated ‘good’ with Ofsted.
As the Registered Home Manager in Walsall, West Midlands you will take charge of an established residential home, which aims to offer young people outstanding care and education within a therapeutic environment.
The Registered Home Manager in Walsall, West Midlands will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, ensuring that the quality of care provided is consistent in line with company and Ofsted standards.
The Registered Home Manager in Walsall, West Midlands will be a confident leader and will lead from the front in building a competent, motivated staff team. They should be able to identify any areas of concern in relation to child protection and should be experienced in liaising with local authorities, schools and external health professionals.
The Registered Home Manager in Walsall, West Midlands will ensure that each child within their care, receives a personalised care plan in line with their education, social, emotional and cultural needs. They will also work with various health professionals in ensuring that each child develops to their full potential. Furthermore, the Registered Home Manager in Walsall, West Midlands will take the lead in recruitment, training and inducting new staff members.
Candidates wishing to apply for the Registered Home Manager, will need to have a Level 3 in Children and Young People and Level 5 in Management, or be working towards this. Candidates should also have gained previous experience working at a senior level supporting young people, preferably with SEBD. Excellent knowledge of care standards, including child protection is also essential. Deputy managers with experience of managing a service are welcome to apply.
