Regional Survey Manager – Chesterfield

Job Type: Permanent Position

Salary: 40,000 – 50,000 per annum

Start date: Subject to candidate availability

One of the UK’s leading, specialist asset maintenance contractors, with five
offices in the UK. We inspect, repair, strengthen and upgrade all types of buildings and
structure.

Dedicated division of the company, and is an acknowledged expert in
the field. Its teams comprise highly qualified and experienced materials engineers,
surveyors and technicians, who not only provide backup services for the company’s
regional contracts divisions, but also service a wide range of outside clients both at
home and abroad.

My Client is seeking a Regional Manager, based at our Chesterfield office.

Reporting to the Survey Manager, you will oversee operations throughout the North of England, North Wales and Scotland.

Key Accountabilities

Pro-actively developing the business within the Region and elsewhere
Financial monitoring, finalising proposals, quotations and reports
Mentoring junior staff to ensure Safety, Health, Environmental and Qualityissues, including UKAS Accreditation, are maintained to high, industry leading standards.
Maintaining existing relationships and developing those with new clientsCompiling project & safety plans, method statements and risk assessments
Recommending repair solutions to clients and engineering staff Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential

Background in, and thorough knowledge of, natural materials engineerin
Innovative thinker and prepared to adopt new techniques
Able to identify & robustly manage business risks
Communicates confidently and effectively at all levels
Appropriate foundation degree – may be in geology, civil engineering or building surveying
Use of MS Office (Excel and Word at minimum) to an intermediate level.Desirable
