Mentor Recruitment is retained by a leading social housing business to facilitate the planned growth of the business and recruit for a Regional Director to lead and grow an existing business across the Yorkshire and North East regions.

Reporting to a Main Board Director, the role will have full leadership responsibility for all aspects of the business from managing customer relationships, bidding and securing future workload, overseeing the operational and commercial teams. Existing and future workload will consist of planned and responsive maintenance/repairs, new build housing and renewables.

You will, ideally, have experience at a similar level, or be looking to take the next step on the career ladder.

Key elements of the role:

Leading and motivating an existing team to higher performance levels.
Recruitment, where necessary.
Key Account Management.
Bidding for and winning new work, traditionally and through frameworks.
Operational Delivery.
Delivering commercial targets.

Required expertise:

Previous experience in a leadership role with demonstrable success.
A background and contacts within social housing, repairs/maintenance or renewables.
Leader with a team working ethos and excellent communication/negotiation skills.
Relevant degree qualification and membership of a professional institute preferred.
