Regional Design Officer

We are recruiting for a job opportunity that has arisen to join one of our clients as a Regional Design Officer. This opportunity will be based in Sunderland, although you will be required to complete design needs from both Yorkshire and the North East.

Our client operate an extensive range of services including buses, trains, health and social transport services, airport related transport services, commuter coaches and water buses. This will be a 12 month fixed term contract, with a view to become permanent depending on performance throughout.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the implementation of all design projects to ensure a strong brand which reaches out to their target audience.

The key responsibility is to ensure all publicity information is up to date and presented through a number of formats which are available. Your objective is to provide a smooth flow of information to both external and internal customers through creating engaging design and copy.

You will have proficient copywriting skills and have the ability to design relevant and creative material for the whole marketing mix. We are looking for a confident and approachable individual who can work effectively to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining an exceptional level of accuracy, and attention to detail. As well as knowledge of the use of all Microsoft Office packages and Adobe Suite; In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator.
