Salary: £26,000 – £31,200 per year
We specialise in the recruitment for industrial, manufacturing and commercial sector for temporary and permament placements.
As a Recruitment and Sales Consultant, you’ll be responsible for servicing existing clients and business development. Working with existing clients to maximise potential business and identifying new clients to develop the business by making calls and arranging client meetings. You will be expected to do a variety of duties in the office but will be involved in resourcing candidates from various job boards, social media and careers fairs.
Working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday, but we can be flexible and suit your needs
Salary depending on experience.
Having a driving license and car is essential for the role (mileage paid)
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating relationships with existing clients
- Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies
- Listen to the client and understand their precise demands in terms of candidate skill set
- Implement search using internal (database) and external (internet) methods
- Conduct candidate interviews at application or registry stage
- Work with internal teams to ensure paperwork, administration and invoicing are handled correctly
- Interviewing shortlisted individuals
- Collecting and reviewing applications to shortlist candidates
- Contacting applicants’ nominated referees to ascertain their work ethic and experience
- Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates
- Offering advice to both clients and candidates on Salary: s, training, and career progression
- Actively seek to grow executive search company business by partnering new clients
- Hit sales targets in terms of fulfilled business (revenue)
- Generating business with sales phone calls to potential clients
- Arranging meeting with potential clients and conducting those meetings
- Creating adverts and posting adverts across different job boards
- CV Searching – Sourcing for potential candidates
- Having the confidence to pass and fail candidates at telephone interview stage
- Booking candidates in for face to face interviews
- Face to face Interviewing candidates
- Having a keen eye and the organisation to scan the relevant documents for applicants
- Passing on your own skills and knowledge to help drive the team forwards
You’ll need to be highly organised, quick to learn new processes and able to multi-task due to the varied and fast paced nature of this desk. We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic team player and is looking for a potential career with an expanding company.

- Over 2+ years in the Recruitment industry
- Proven track record of taking end-to-end responsibility during a sales cycle
- Technical knowledge is always a bonus!
