Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year
We are currently working with a progressive main contractor based on the boarders of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work within their commercial team.
The company is run by a couple of highly experienced construction professionals who enjoyed much success within the industrial and commercial sectors working for a leading tier 1 main contractor. They set up this company at the start of last year and have already had great success, winning most of the work they are going for and delivering projects on time and to a great standard. They managed to turnover £10million in their first year of trading and are projecting this to increase to over £30million for year two, showing their ambition and position within the build market.
They have an opening for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work closely with the commercial manager and senior quantity surveyor to successfully run the commercial side of industrial, commercial and fit out projects across the country. The role will be working across multiple projects at any one time, leading your own projects and assisting with other areas to ensure great teamwork across the whole company.
To ideal candidate for this role will;
- Have 3+ Years experience working for a main contractor
- Have experience managing a range of packages, ideally groundworks or structures.
- Be comfortable client facing and leading presentations

- Live within an hours commute from the Leicestershire / Northamptonshire boarder
- Be happy to commute and stay away when required
- Be a strong team player
