Quality Improvement Project Manager

JOB TITLE: QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT MANAGER

REPORTING TO: DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF CARE AND OPERATIONS

LOCATION: NATIONWIDE – LONDON OR WEST SUSSEX BASE WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS

SALARY: UP TO £54,000PER ANNUM

ROLE: To work across this clients services, trouble shooting and project managing. Must have previous sound home management experience

OBJECTIVES

To clearly communicate the principles of a Quality Management system, and implement the process model across the organisation

To work with the Quality Directorate to establish best practice and ensure fulfilment of applicable contractual Quality and Regulatory Standards appertaining to its operation.

To focus on the factors such as resources, methods and materials that will improve key activities of the organization

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

1. To liaise with this healthcare organisation’s Quality Directorate to ensure that a bi annual programme of Quality Audits of every aspect of the operation of the service is carried out in accordance with internal Quality Audit Procedures

2. To work with Services that need quality improvement in compilation and rectification of action plans

3. To assist Services that need an interim manager

4. Take action to highlight services where possible prevention in the dip in quality service provision can be identified and rectified

5. Assist in Acquisition of new services, and services that may be transferring

6. Take control of Quality improvement incentives, services moving from good to excellent.

7. To liaise regularly with the Purchasers’ commissioning teams to ensure that the services are being provided in the way intended and to identify any improvements or changes which need to be made to the services in the light of changed circumstances.

8. To develop and evaluate policies and procedures in line with Quality Tools and Health and safety guidelines, and work with other directorates to facilitate this.
