Job Description

The Recruitment Co are recruiting an experienced Quality Engineer to join our clients expanding team. A world-leading manufacturer of high-quality technical products.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000
Shifts: Days Full time

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team to work closely with all company functions to coordinate activities in post market surveillance to include customer/ consumer warranty, HRC’s, etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks:-

  • Continuous improvement of the post market surveillance system
  • Collection of consumer feedback/complaints from distributors & partners on: Quality – Performance – Safety
  • Data trend analysis of consumer feedback/complaints
  • Development/ ownership of database
  • Implementation of Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions
  • Ownership of the HRC process
  • Creation of Periodic Safety Update Reports
  • Use of sound methods of assessing the data which has been collected
  • Use of indicator and threshold values to be used to reassess: The benefit -risk analysis & the risk management activities
  • Developing and maintaining appropriate quality instructions, specifications and standards
  • Supporting quality training of staff
  • Maintaining all required records and performance indicators, analysing data to support quality improvement.

To be successful in the role you will need the following attributes:-

Experience Required:

Essential

  • Experienced in co-ordinating continuous improvement in quality performance as experienced by customers/consumers
  • Experienced in working to ISO 9001/ 13485 quality system standards in a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of GMP

Desirable

  • Experience of working with electronic products
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, CAPA, NPI, Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ)

Qualifications and training:

  • Related industry experience
  • HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to critically evaluate and summarise complex data into simple messages and actions
  • Able to challenge issues in a constructive manner, providing appropriate training and support to improve
  • Organised and methodical
