Quality Coordinator

Salary: £33,600 – £38,400 per year

Our client is a £multimillion operation who, due to expansion, are looking to appoint a Quality Coordinator for their busy operation. Our client is expanding and are always keen to promote from within the business therefore for the right person there could be development opportunities.

As the Quality Coordinator you will be responsible for;

* Day to day contact with the customer

* Gathering micro samples and log/monitor

* Instigating corrective actions and overseeing rework processes

* Collation of data – this includes missing checks, micro fails, results etc

* Seeking and monitoring concessions for products/materials

* Authorising and approving specifications and other documentation required

* Attending pre-production meetings, new product trials, new product start-ups

* Ensuring all new products get customer approval

* Carrying out internal audits

* Involved in site audits

* Involved in investigating incidents and root cause analysis

We are looking for a Quality Coordinator / QA / QC who has experience within food and who has worked in a role managing and maintaining quality control systems. Ideally, we are looking for a Quality Supervisor or Quality Team Leader looking for their next move into a more senior role within food manufacturing.
