The Client & Role | Who Are They?

If you are an experienced and talented quality supervisor seeking an exciting new challenge, then we want to hear from you! We are recruiting for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable salary and a positive workplace culture.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

In this Quality Control Supervisor role, you will lead the quality department – full end-to-end from raw materials to finished goods. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a small team of quality inspectors across three shifts on a 24/5 operation, managing all aspects of quality.

Working closely with the QHSE Manager you will also help the business to achieve its potential by taking ownership of quality issues, NCR’s, working with suppliers and looking at quality KPI’s, including RFT and OTIF.

If you were currently in this Quality Control Supervisor role here are some of the things you would have done this week:

• Develop a quality culture through the effective use of reporting and KPIs.
• Review and where appropriate develop a suite of KPIs that drive OTIF and RFT.
• Motivate and lead a team in a collaborative way.
• Identify areas for further investment.

To succeed, you should have a quality background with management or supervisor experience of a small team together with experience and evidence of delivering tangible quality improvements. You will also need:

• An understanding of modern and efficient manufacturing quality tools and methodologies.
• Previous experience of CMM machines would be desirable.
• Excellent communication, management, and organisational skills.
