Quality Assurance Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

CK Group are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager, to join a growing biotechnology company in Nottingham, on a permanent basis. A great opportunity for an experienced quality professional with strong leadership and GMP QA skill sets, who is confident in developing new practices and processes to allow the QA department to support a growing organisation.

The Company:
Outstanding biotechnology organisation focused on next-gen biopharmaceuticals, who have experienced tremendous growth in the last 3 years.

The Role:
To manage a small team of QA professionals to deliver operational and administrative activities within the Quality Assurance department.

Responsibilities:

• To encourage and support QA team with their work and foster their development
• To carry out work in the following areas within QA in accordance to GMP to support the team: Deviations management, CAPA reports, hosting audits, change control, batch review and release, internal/ external audits etc

Your Background:

• Degree qualified in a life science or chemical science field, with equivalent industry experience
• 7- 10 years experience of QA within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with strong knowledge of cGMP and quality systems
• Technical expertise managing a QA function
• Experience of working in a GMP environment
• Qualified and/or experienced ISO 9001 auditor (desirable)
