Quality Assurance Administrator

My client who is a large wholesaler is recruiting a Quality Assurance Administrator to join their site in Nottingham.

The main purpose of this role is to maintain the Quality Assurance System to ensure compliance at all times.

Responsibiltiies will include:

Internal audits.
Constant improvement of the quality system used throughout Packing and Warehouse.
Working closely with the HACCP team
Implement and maintain the Raw Material Specifications System and use it to ensure raw materials quality and identify non compliance issues.
Assist in customer complaint investigations, including traceability and recall exercises.Duites will include:

Ensure that all aspects of food safety and legal compliance are maintained.
Create HACCP documents as required and maintain and monitor the HACCP system.
Handle any issues related to raw material non-compliance including ensuring that the raw material is quarantined and non-conformance is recorded by the relevant department in a timely manner.
Undertake customer complaints investigation / corrective action auditing to ensure that remedial action is carried out.
Assist in on going shelf life trials of finished products.
Assist in theBRCaccreditation process and following up non-compliances.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Quality/Technical function within a wholesale or food manufacturing environment.

My client is keen to see individuals who wish to develop their skills. The role has the potential to develop in to a management role in the next 12 months.
