Leading manufacturer of Flavour and Fragrance chemicals seeks an experienced QC Shift Analyst.
About the role:
Duties of the QC Analyst revolve around the analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished products as well as being involved in the investigation of customer complaints and the associated feedback. You will be expected to bring enthusiasm to a small, multi-tasking, passionate team.

Skills and experience:
- A degree in Analytical Chemistry or similar
- Enthusiasm and a desire to learn
- Good team player
- Previous experience of working in an analytical role within a chemical manufacturing
- organisation
- Some knowledge of safe working practices i.e. COSHH
- Some knowledge of analytical methods such as GLC, HPLC, Karl Fischer, Mpt
Salary:
Starting at £26,000per year whilst training (2-3 months), moving to £25,200 when starting shifts.
Hours of work:
37.5 per week Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00, Fridays 08:30 -15:45 initially whilst training. After training, moved onto a 2-shift system 06:00-14:00 Monday to Friday and 13:45-22:00 Monday -Thursday and 13:45-20:45 Friday.
