Salary: £27,360 per year
Our client is a franchise main dealer in the Northallerton area of North Yorkshire who requires a fully trained and experienced Diagnostic Technician.

Basic £22,800 plus bonus, overtime and benefits
Type of Role:
This is a full time permanent role.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Diagnose faults and best means of repair
– Complete and provide accurate diagnostic reports on vehicles
– Assume a leading position within the workshop and advise on work priorities
– Conduct pre-service booking discussions with customers to understand, interpret and resolve any issues/faults to enable an accurate diagnosis.
– Coach, assist and train junior members of the team
– Assist and have input with best practice and quality control processes
– Maintain a clean, safe and healthy working environment
Skills and Experience Required:
It is essential that you have been fully trained and qualified as a Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair to NVQ level 3 as a minimum or equivalent, have completed manufacturer training as a Diagnostic or Master Technician and hold a full valid driving licence.
Being an MOT Tester and having main dealer experience would be an advantage but is not essential, however you must be skilled to the level that you can work unsupervised in carrying out servicing and repairs to vehicles whilst maintaining the highest of quality control standards.
