QA Technician / CAD

Salary: £26,400 – £27,600 per year

This role is advertised by Red Recruitment 24:7 who are acting as recruitment consultants for our Scunthorpe based client. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) technician/CAD to join their team.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Containment, investigation, correction and prevention.
• Issuing concessions, alerts and C of C documentation
• Sample approvals, fair documentation and inspection as required
• Internal change not action/review as required
• 3D CAD, solid works an advantage but not limited to
• Produce technical drawings to support both customer and company using a design for manufacture philosophy
• Assisting in the generation of BOM’s, and SOP’s as part as the Engineering team.

Required skills – ADVANTAGE but training will be given

• Knowledge of producing working technical documentation and specification.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (solidworks a benefit but not limited to)
• Consciences at meeting deadlines for to meet other deadlines and customer satisfaction
• Strong communication skills both internally and externally such as customers and suppliers
• Microsoft such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, outlook
• Use of measuring equipment such as Vernier’s
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Required experience/Education:

• Microsoft (as above)
• 3D CAD an advantage but training can be discussed
• QA assurance/inspector experience – preferable but not essential
• Electrical/electronic manufacturing experience
• 3D printing – preferable but not essential
