Position: QA Automation Engineer 
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire 
Salary: £48,000per annum 

About the Role: 
The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for the quality assurance of all SIS software products, ensuring all released software is of the highest quality possible. Within this role you will work using QA automation tools – ideally Selenium to build out functional and regression test suites, ensuring all software development work is tested against acceptance tests. 

You will become a subject matter expert in the business areas where software is being used so you can inform both regression and functional testing and ensure all stories follow the correct JIRA process workflow through QA / UAT to done and are properly communicated with the project team and business owners. 

In addition you will own testing for a project, acting as an autonomous testing resource managing own work. You will also own automated test suites, functional and or / regression for one or more projects conforming to current QA standards and scripting. 

Furthermore you will develop and build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring development work also passes internal and external UAT stage with business owners. You`ll also build relationship with key business owners and wider stakeholders and ensure regular and clear communication (written / verbal) within SIS Development, business customers and other project stakeholders at all seniority levels. 

About You: 
To be successful in this role you will hold a BSC in computer science or other numerate degree with significant computing content. With proven automated testing experience, test script writing and using testing tools (Selenium and JAVA) you will have experience using defect management systems, especially JIRA. 

In addition you will have experience of managing multiple QA projects at the same time – at different stages in the software cycle – managing test scripts, test scenario planning etc. at the same time across multiple projects. 

Ideally you will have knowledge of testing in C#,.NET, Java, SQL, XML, PL / SQL environment. Knowledge of data feeds (financial, betting feeds etc.) will also be highly desirable.
