Senior Buyer

A Senior Buyer is required to work a permanent basis for our manufacturing client based in South Manchester.

Overview of the Senior Buyer role

You will be responsible for overseeing our clients purchasing department, interface between the purchasing function and other departments. You will also be responsible for upholding current purchasing processes and procedures and develop the purchasing function at a strategic level.

Key skills required for the Senior Buyer

* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a business related subject or CIPS qualified.
* Previous experience in a purchasing/buyer role.
* Supervisor experience.
* Perform supplier audits.
* Ability to implement strategic pricing policies.

The role is based in Greater Manchester – commutable from Stockport, Salford, Rochdale, Oldham, Huddersfield, Wigan and Warrington.
