Salary: £32,400 per year
Buyer / Estimator – Cambridgeshire – Ceramics & Glass – Up to £27,000
A Buyer / Estimator is required on a permanent basis for a growing company supplying various metal and plastic products in Cambridgeshire. Previous experience working with ceramics or glass is essential for this position.
Buyer / Estimator Responsibilities:
* Product sourcing
* Establishing and maintaining supplier rapport and relationships
* To obtain supplier quotations / information for the potential purchasing/ manufacture of product
* Place purchase orders as necessary and liaise with both the supplier
* Identification of potential new suppliers
* Continuous self development and product knowledge learning
Buyer / Estimator Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years experience as a Buyer or Estimator is essential for this position.
* Experience working with ceramics or glass products is essential.
* A CIPS qualification will be beneficial.
* An understanding of engineering drawings will be beneficial.
Package
Salary up to £32,400dependant on experience.
28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
