Salary: £27,600 – £32,400 per year
This well-established international organisation are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join their team. This role will be offered on a hybrid working scheme.
Purchase Ledger Controller – About The Role
In this role you will be reporting directly into the FC and will be working within a small finance team. You will have full responsibility of the purchase ledger function and will be required to regularly be in contact with foreign suppliers. Your key responsibilities will be:
* Accurate and timely positing of supplier invoices to the purchase ledger.
* Preparing payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid according to payment terms.
* Posting supplier payments onto the ERP system and setting up new suppliers.
* Matching deposit payments to purchase orders and invoices.
* Communicating and building relationships with suppliers as well as dealing with any queries.
* Ensuring that internal control procedures are being adhered to and reviewing the aged creditor reports.
The successful Purchase Ledger Controller will have:
* At least 5 years’ experience in a purchase ledger position.
* Experience in dealing with multiple currencies.
* Strong IT & system skills.
