Public Health Engineer

We are currently looking for a Public Health Engineer on a permanent basis for a leading international consultancy in The City. The company focus on the design of environmentally-friendly, sustainable buildings and with a full range of engineering services, devise optimum solutions for projects in a fully integrated and cost effective way.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team of Design Engineers. As a Public Health Engineer you will be able to manage the Public Health elements of projects from client specification through to completion.

Requirements / Qualifications:
• Demonstrable Public Health Engineering expertise in designing and co-coordinating systems in different types of buildings.
• Solid understanding of sustainable design principles including greywater recycling, rainwater harvesting, solar hot water, aligned to system targets.
• Ability to undertake design of projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to produce tender quality drawings in accordance with QA procedures.
• Ability to produce principle design calculations associated with water services and drainage.
• Ability to care for and manage relationships with clients on your own projects through design team meetings and site visits.
• Demonstrable previous work experience in an engineering consultancy
