You’re Profile
As the Quality/ Projects engineer, you will have a proven track record of delivering New Products into an automotive environment, ensuring complete service to the customer and support to the suppliers. A background in quality and launch engineering would be desirable and so would like the candidate to take on more of a project management role driving quality systems.
You will also have a sound knowledge of APQP, PPAP and the associated tools to deliver as the TS19649 quality standards. Experience of working with clients such as Land Rover, Honda or Toyota is also preferred.

The Role
The Quality projects engineer you will be responsible for and assist with new product development, ensuring that all customer APQP files are up to date, and that the
Preparation of PPAP package has been completed,
Status monitoring and approval of supplier PPAP package during project stage.
The Quality/Project engineer will also be a Key FMEA (failure mode effect analysis) team member. This will be key in establishing significant and critical characteristics with customers and suppliers. Other duties will include, Statistical analysis of results from capability studies producing reports, Co-ordinate and manage DVP testing, Co-ordinate new gauge fixture measurement system analysis including calculations (R&R studies) and coordinating/obtain fit and finish, colour and grain, obtaining master samples from customer.
