Fusion People are looking to source an experienced Project Officer | Document Controller in Rail to join our client in their delivery of rail maintenance and major works projects throughout Sydney.

You will be located in Sydney close to public transport links which makes this role the ideal commute. You will be working in a world class innovative organisation and be responsible for managing all rail projects to completion including assisting and monitoring their progress to ensure completion to time and budget.

You must ideally have demonstrated experience in engineering and construction project development within a rail environment. You will have substantial experience in a multi-disciplined work environment with a demonstrated capacity to work as a team member. Your strong ability to plan, research and produce reports specific to project delivery will stand you in good stead. You will also be a confident communicator and have an exemplary career to date in records management procedures.

Your key responsibilities as a Project Officer | Document Controller within this rail project role will include:

– Assist in the delivery of assigned projects by preparing briefs

– Assist in preparing project plans, monitoring project budgets and resources

– Work closely with managers and key stakeholders

– Coordinate/assist Manager in resource management, QA & all facets of project

– Ensure best practice and display a sound knowledge of TRIM

– Extensive knowledge of ARIBA is highly desirable

– Ability to multi-task

– Self-motivated and well organised
