Project Officer

Salary: £13.44 per hour

Apple Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Band 4 Project Officer, for our public sector clients Systems Replacement Programme Project.

This role is temporary, initially for 6 months with possible extensions, full time (mon-fri 9-5) and £11.20 an hour.

Job Summary:

The Systems Replacement Programme is a large and complex regional transformation programme. It has been established on behalf of the client to procure and implement replacements for the current Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Human Resources, Pay and Travel Management systems.

This post will be responsible to the Senior Project Manager. The post holder will provide administrative support to the PMO and the wider Systems Replacement Programme, assisting the team to ensure that PMO processes are delivered in an efficient, effective and high quality manner.

1. A Level 4 qualification such as HNC or equivalent / higher qualification in a business/administrative related subject AND 18 months in a general administrative or project support role within an office environment

OR

GCSE Mathematics & English (Grades A-C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy/or higher qualification AND have worked for at least 2 years in a general administrative or project support role within an office environment

OR

Have worked for at least 3 years in a general administrative or project support role within an office environment

Desirable:

Previous experience of supporting a PMO function and/or working in a programme management environment
