Project Manager / PA to Md

Elevation Office Support is currently working with a market leader in its field who require a dedicated and experienced Project Manager / PA. The position will be based in Hull, with the opportunity to work from home. Travel support can be offered.

This is a newly created position that will suit a driven, strong minded candidate with a commercial understanding. This role will be to support the MD with strategic planning, requiring you to understand the MD’s role; picking up additional responsibility with confidence as and when required.

The ideal candidate will be bright, switched on, well presented with the ability to liaise confidently with clients & local suppliers, attending networking events and representing the business in positive and productive way.

Duties & Responsibilities will include but will not be limited too;

*Working with the Managing Director and Executive board to develop and monitoring short and long term strategy in order to maximise people engagement and profit
*Supporting the Executive to develop strong links with Stakeholders and ensure Stakeholder feedback is integrated into strategic planning
*Stepping into the MD’s role when needed
*Tracking progress against plans, providing regular reports to the Executive and Senior Managers
*Handling and managing budgets
*Compiling presentations for sales pitches
*Leading key strategic programmes and projects within the organisation and provide support to departments through the provision of department specific project planning tools
*Developing projects and systems to ensure continuous improvement including the creation of effective business cases, project plans and communications
*Managing and recording constructive engagement interactions with a range of industry stakeholders
*Digesting and understanding public policy making and its impact upon the operating environment
*Supporting the Marketing/HR teams, managing the internal and external communications strategy for key strategic projects within the organisation
*Champion innovation and change to maximise competitiveness
*Providing executive support to the Managing Director
*Provide ad hoc support to department heads
*Desirable industry experience; Fleet / Transport / Rail businesses
