Project Manager – NHS – Echemo

Project Manager – NHS – eChemo – 6 Months – £360 – £420 per day

My NHS client based in London is looking for a Project Manager to start as soon as possible for a 6 month contract. The role of the Project Manager will be to support the trust wide rollout and co-ordinate a multi-functional project team to deliver project objectives. The successful candidate will be expected to formulate project plans, monitor and manage risks and issues and liaise with clinical, non-clinical and project staff to ensure that the product is fully tested and fit for use within all relevant clinical settings as well as the ability to manage all phases of the project lifecycle and ensure sustainable adoption of the system by end users within agreed timeframes.

My NHS client has developed an in house web based application called eChemo.

Systems must;

+ Allow clinicians to prescribe chemotherapy electronically using approved protocols
+ Minimise/ replace the use of paper prescriptions across the Trust
+ Facilitate the capture of data relating to the national systemic anti – cancer therapy data set
+ Provide an auditable record of all chemotherapy prescribed and administered
+ Support reporting for national and local purposes
