Project Manager – Groundworks/Civils – £48,000 – £72,000+ package – Hampshire
The company
Established 15 years this is a modern & reputable Construction & Building Services company with regional offices throughout the South, working within numerous sectors including, Commercial, Industrial, Education, Residential, Health & MoD. They provide complete services including groundworks/civils, new build, fit out, refurb, M&E services on projects c£100k – £5m.
They are looking for a Project Manager with experience in civils and groundworks (drainage, roads, surfacing, car parks, block work, paving…). Office based but with site / client visits you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the projects from start through to handover and could have more than one project on the go at any one time. Project values for Civils / Groundworks typically £50k – £500k.
You will manage the work force, ensure Health & Safety policy adhered to, deal with client and provide relevant reporting. Deliver projects in line with current CDM regulations.
Ideal candidate will have track record of project management within civils sector and be fully conversant with current CDM regulation. It literate – able to use Word, Excel etc…
Excellent communication skills towards sub-contractors, directly employed staff and client. Able to motivate and manage in an effective & pro-active manner.
Salary and package are negotiable depending on experience.
