Project Manager – Engineering

Salary: £26,000 – £56,400 per year

Interim Project Manager (Engineering) with immediate start and the potential to go permanent.
Our client is a well funded engineering R&D start-up. As such, this role is, by definition, new and evolutionary. From the outset, there is a requirement for creative input from all involved in the organisation. There is no hard and fast job description, but there will be key tasks to be undertaken from day one.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional Project Manager with an engineering background from any one of a number of disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, petrochemical, geotechnical, controls & instrumentation etc. There is a firm belief within the organisation that the more diverse the team, the more successful it will be.
The Role:
The Interim Project Manager will be taking on an already established portfolio of projects within the organisation. You are expected to be a highly capable individual within your field. You will have a drive and passion to achieve great heights in managing projects involving the design and implementation of cutting-edge technology reimagined for the industry within which the client operates.
Qualifications:
In order to fulfil the role, it is expected that you will have the following qualifications/experience:
Graduate Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with exposure to multi-discipline projects and the management thereof.
2-5 years in industry and a proven ability in managing engineering based projects
Confident presenter, reporting to the Director of Engineering and Board Level as required.
