Project Manager Construction

Salary: £96,000 per year

Project Manager – to £96,000plus excellent benefits package. Company are happy to employ the Project Manager on a permanent of self-employed basis

With all the doom and gloom within the current market place it is refreshing to hear that our client is bucking the trend and expanding turnover and more importantly profit. They are a well established, financially stable main contractor who have secured turnover for next year. They have carved themselves out a niche market within the high quality design and build private funded market sector, earning a reputation for producing exceptionally high finishes and quality of service. Schemes vary from £10 to £50m in value.

They are currently in the process of recruiting two talented Project Managers to be site based on a recently award project or to work on the preconstruction stage of a number of on-going tenders.

Reporting to the Construction Director, the company requires a Project Manager who will contribute at the highest level with regards to responsibility for delivery of the project safely, on time and to the client’s satisfaction. The Project Manager will ensure that during the project all aspects of safety, environmental, quality, technical and commercial management issues are implemented and maintained. The Project Manager will create and set up a team appropriate for the project in order to develop and retain staff.

It is imperative that the successful Project Managers have experience of design and build schemes within a recognised contractor. Other pre requisites are:

* Main contracting background within the London market

* Ideally degree qualified

* Strong management and communication skills

* Commercially and technically competent

* Strong appreciation for health and safety, procedures and programme.

* Comfortable with managing meetings and dealing with the client and their representatives.
