Project Manager-Agile / Waterfall

Salary: £60,000 – £78,000 per year

 Software Consultancy are looking for an established Project Manger who has most of the following skills:

• Minimum 5 years IT Project Management experience with complex, application development projects
• Experience of working within AGILE, WATERFALL and Hybrid project frameworks
• Practitioner level qualification in at least one Project Management methodology
• Well versed in running stand-ups and Scrums to prioritise project deliverables and backlogs
• Experience in a challenging, deadline and deliverable-oriented environment and able to contribute to customer and Nasstar governance methods
• Confident, credible and authoritative demeanour to shape and structure projects and influence customers and stakeholders
• Experience of implementing change, both technical and business, and understanding and executing/advising on best practice and governance/controls appropriate to the circumstances
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills….a good ‘diplomat’ and relationship builder
• Experienced and confident managing and reporting to customer and internal stakeholders on complex project budgets, and comfortable managing commercial negotiations
• Must have strong commercial acumen but balanced with strong customer focus and empathy
• Experience and confident dealing with customers and business stakeholders, at all levels
• Able to manage numerous concurrent projects or workstreams and adept at managing conflicting priorities
• Able to identify, log and monitor risks and issues (threats and opportunities), planning and implementing responses to them and reports and escalates risks as required to appropriate level
