Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Due to their continued growth and success they’re are seeking to appoint two Construction Project Managers to join our established project delivery teams based from our Head Office.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager the successful candidate will provide support and management to existing a future construction and civil engineering projects; with a clear emphasis on successful contract delivery and health and safety. The successful candidate will ensure all aspects of project delivery is carried out economically and in accordance with the specification and programme; you will have an excellent track record in successful project delivery and have a comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry.
Key Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
• Relevant construction qualifications including SMSTS, current/relevant CSCS Card and ideally a construction related academic qualification;
• Ideally be a full member of the Chartered Institute of Building MCIOB with a proven record of CPD;
• A minimum of ten years’ experience working as a Project Manager or similar senior on-site managerial position for a similar sized main contractor;
• Managerial attributes and a strong team work ethic to form, manage, mentor and motivate project teams to deliver a high quality finished product;
• The skills required to help select, manage and control a wide variety of sub-contractors working on our sites;
• Proven ability to develop and maintain efficient and professional Client team relationships;
• Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills;
• Fully conversant with various forms of construction contracts, specifically JCT, NEC and PPC 2000;A proactive management style and sound decision making skills are essential along with the ability to work under pressure and get things done;
• Excellent organisation and time management skills in order to meet deadlines;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Successful candidates will have an eye for detail and for quality of build and
• A full UK driving licence, this opportunity will involve travel on a regular basis.
