Project Manager

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

Hudson Shribman is looking for a Project Manager

Responsibilities

* Determine when projects are required to meet customer expectations, support the manufacturing process and meet target delivery dates.

* Responsible for both internal and customer project kick-off meetings.

* Create project plans using Microsoft Project to track and report sales order progress to customers and internal teams including sales.

* Become the point of contact for customers to communicate project status (the link between customer and manufacturing).

* Organise and run project meetings for strategic customer orders for new and existing products that are processed through the company.

* Provide documented notes/actions from project meetings and distribute to the project team, following up to ensure they are completed.

* Set up measurement methods and forms of recording to monitor the performance of the manufacturing processes.

* Facilitate postmortem events for projects (sales orders) that do not run smoothly and closeout corrective actions.

* Work closely with other departments to keep projects running smoothly, meet requirements, budget, and achieve completion within the project timeline.

* Escalate and communicate project needs and issues to management to keep on track.

* Hold daily interdepartmental meetings to review the order log through the back-office process (special design visual board) and raise any issues off schedule.

* Track Gross Margin performance of the orders and expenses of the project and manage project costs.

* Check all customer requirements have been met including documentation before equipment is shipped.

* Identify and resolve any conflicts with customers’ departmental teams to ensure a satisfactory outcome.
