Technical Project Manager/Information Security

This Project Manager role is to support the existing team within 3rd Party Management. The goal of the workstream is to protect my client`s information when it is accessed or hosted by third parties. This role is to support this existing team and to drive alignment and buy-in to the approach that`s been designed across all departments including procurement, legal, risk management and audit.

Key deliverables are:

-Deploy an approved third party management process and legal contract addenda for information protection into global business units on a prioritised risk basis.
-Implement an ongoing steady state information protection third party management process.
-Implement a third party information protection assurance approach and resource model.

Key responsibilities are:

-Manage the overall project plan and prioritise project activity.
-Manage resources to ensure that the project has the required skills and are properly utilised.
-Manage overall project level risks, issues, and dependencies and manage escalations when appropriate.
-Align change related activity across the third party management workstream.
-Plan and facilitate necessary workstream meetings.
-Produce weekly status reports.
-Coordinate activities with workstream deployment manager(s).

Skills required:
-Proven delivery of complex global projects across multiple departments with the ability to drive alignment and rapid decision making.
– Excellent stakeholder engagement with senior leaders.
– Excellent team management across different time zones.
– Clear deliverable tracking to plan.
– Excellent written communication of options, recommendations and decisions to manage alignment through the programme governance structure.
– Proven experience in change impact assessment, business readiness and deployment of best practice methods and tools.
– Strong planning and deliverable tracking; attention to detail.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills
-An understanding of security practices and how they are applied to suppliers and other third parties.
-Able to flex working hours to meet the needs of deployment in global time zones.
-Able to adapt deployment approach in line with business needs.
-Able to hit the ground running and demonstrate a persistent drive to completion.
