Project Manager

Project Manager (Building / Construction): A Project Manager is required to manage projects up to the value of £500k, from contract sign off, through design, manufacture and implementation / installation. The company is an internationally-recognised leader in the design, manufacture and supply of both standardised and bespoke environmental solutions, based in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

As Project Manager you will ideally come from a building / construction / waste water background and will have experience of running major projects and coordinating cross functional activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within set budgets.

Duties & Responsibilities:
– Attend contract hand over meetings
– Review customer contracts and identify elements of potential significant impact
– Produce, distribute and maintain detailed project plans
– Participate in weekly production / engineering meetings
– Optimise site engineers and contract labour to achieve most cost effective solutions for both installation and warranty
– Monitor warranty issues and report regularly to the Supply Chain Manager any significant costs or trends

Skills & Requirements:
– Graduate calibre or equivalent in a technical discipline
– Experienced in running major projects (including concurrent projects)
– Knowledgeable in contract interpretation
– Able to influence both internal and external stakeholders
– A self-starter – demonstrating initiative and problem solving skills
– Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
– Able to demonstrate management skills and experience
– Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
– Driving licence
– A Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) would be desirable, but not essential
