Project Leader / Manager

Your Responsibilities:
• We are seeking a professional individual who is an experienced project manager to join the R&D team. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of products, whilst leading and managing multi-disciplined teams to continuously deliver new product development projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards, ensuring the products meet SQDCE (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Environment) targets

Duties include:

• Planning, managing and motivating project teams to ensure products are implemented, released & supported consistently within agreed standards and strategy
• Ensuring project risks are identified and managed
• Presenting regular progress reports to Senior Management and escalating any issues
• Ensuring that the project teams are defined and fully competent to complete the projects
• Producing accurate estimates of material costs and managing the costs to approved budgets

Your Qualifications:
• Expirence in project management (R&D/New product Development/Manufacturing preferred)
• Strong leadership skills
• Degree, or equivalent, in engineering and technology management related discipline
• Excellent communication and presentation skills using Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project is essential
