Salary: £42,000 per year

Project Engineer / Project Manager, Abingdon, £35,000pa – £45,000pa plus benefits:

A leading high-tech manufacturer is looking to recruit a Project Engineer or Project Manager to join a team of Project Manager’s delivering key bespoke products for customers around the world. This role would suit a Project Engineer looking to move into a pure project management role or a Project Manager at the start of their PM journey looking to gain more experience.

You will need a keen interest in science, instrumentation, physics, high tech/low volume manufacturing, cryogenics or magnetics as our client works within this space.

On a day-to-day basis the Project Engineer / Project Manager will manage the delivery of bespoke products outlined by their global customer base, ensuring these projects are delivered on time, on cost and on quality from cradle to grave.

Ideal candidate:

The successful Project Engineer / Project Manager will educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering, science or mathematics based degree. You will need to have a keen interest in physics, engineering, science, magnetics or cryogenics. Other key areas of experience and skills:

• Experience in the Project Management or delivery of products, instrumentation, medical devices or high-tech systems.
• A technical understanding of mechanical, electronic and electrical components.
• Ideally previous experience managing multiple projects and working across a number of departments to ensure that projects are on time and to budget.
• Previous experience in a high-tech, low volume manufacturing environment is essential for this role.
