Project Health and Safety Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious property development, investment and management group as a Project Health and Safety Manager. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic and a good leader/team player.
Working with the Health and Safety team and the project team, you will be responsible for delivering site inductions, chairing health and safety meetings, carrying out audits and site inspections and advising the project team on health and safety issues.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with the ability to build relationships at all levels and to influence decision making and safe behaviours on the projects. It is essential that the successful candidate is practical and proactive with the ability to innovate and contribute to a strong team ethic.
Experience of the construction, engineering or related industries is essential and the successful candidate will be in possession of formal recognised Health and Safety qualification i.e. NEBOSH General/NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NVQ Level 3 however, NEBOSH Diploma and above preferred. You will hold membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health: Technician Member will be considered but preference will be given to Grad IOSH and above.
